In contrast to previous years when cases of violence, intolerance, and hate speech directed towards Serbs were mostly reported in areas were refugees returned, it is noticeable that such cases have spread throughout Croatia since 2012. By collecting data from individual reports and media coverage, the Independent Democratic Serbian Party Club in the Croatian Parliament and the Serb National Council registered 82 cases of ethnic violence, intolerance, and hate speech against Serbs in 2014.
