Description

A corpus containing over one thousand articles from five leading dally newspapers in Croatia has been the subject of a qualitative (discourse analysis) and quantitative (statistical processing) analysis aimed at identifying patterns, mechanisms, and strategies for creating notions about Serbs in Croatia over the course of one year.  Based on these findings, the book “The Production of the Other: Serbs in Croatian Daily Newspapers” includes recommendations for journalists and editors when reporting about interethnic relations and the experience of national minorities.
