One day following the devastating earthquake which struck Banija, the Serb National Council started collecting humanitarian aid (clothes, medicine and hygiene supplies) in the Offices of the Serbian Business Association Prvirednik in Preradoviceva Street in Zagreb. Given the fact that are warehousing capacities have reached maximum and that there are enough donations for the upcoming period, the donation drive is temporarily halted and the Serbian National Council would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of solidarity and selflessness.
We kindly remind you that the drive “Banija is our house” is still open for financial donations to the citizens of Banija. The funds are used to purchase containers for temporary housing, construction materials, and other supplies necessary for reconstruction of houses in the area.
